1991 NA V6 Nissan 300ZX black with some clear coat issues in some areas..
2+2 5 SPD
black leather interior with minor flaws
good tread on tires recent clutch!

166xxx miles very well kept and maintained

climate control currently doesnt work i think it is the unit i am in the process of ordering a new one hopefully it will solve the problem.

aight dude, you can't sell for retail. You are not a dealer. Retail is a value used for cars that have been reconditioned by a dealer and to use as a base line for what a person can get a loan for. You are not a retail dealer, so what he posted is correct as the private party value for your car.

nada only gives retail value, so to use it in a private party instance, you have to go with the low retail assuming it is in almost perfect shape. Since yours needs a paint job, I would subtract at least 800 for that and the other things, so i would say then about 3500.

I believe that beyond a certain point, the book is no longer useful as such when they start saying vehicles are worth less than 800-1000 bucks. I mean hell, a decent clean, good running vehicle is easily worth that no matter how old it is, so in those cases, the book it useless.

RETAIL means retail, like at a dealership....and that is the ASKING price at a dealership, which is always negotiable. You cannot accurately use RETAIL prices to justify your PRIVATE PARTY asking price. Well, you can, but people will just think you are an idiot. I am also a fellow Z car fan that is just trying to help out.
