General Vs. Toyo

I made up my mind between these two. General Exclaim UHP is top rated in TireRack by customers but the Toyo Proxes 4; well alot more people like em. General is 70 dollar a tire compared to 88 for Toyo. Which would you get and Im leaning toward more to General. Seems decent. Mind you mine is 2001 Honda Prelude and the size is 215/40/17 :D

Dont get the generals. I work at discount tire, and the general feel like butter. The sidewalls are flimsy as i dont know what, and imo the tread is FUGLY. I dont know how they perform but just from playin witem i wouldnt putem on my car. Go with the Toyo.

Get a toyo proxes. i rode on those before i switched to a diff tire, but they were a great ride and with what little % of tread left still had decent traction.
