rotating cuff

i have a torn roataing cuff on my right sholder and i am going to ge the surgery done. i hear its painfull and that most of the time it doesnt even work. anyone have any suggestions?

dealing with it...other than that I suggest trying to build up the muscle. I used to get pain in my shoulders when working out, so I was recommended to work out the muscle a very small amount daily. Not long after I haven't felt the pain in my shoulders. Give it a shot.

its torn thats all i know from the mri and the dr.

doesnt matter how torn or where its torn, just thats its torn. yeah its gonna hurt, but depending on your insurance/healthcare provider you could be stoned as fuck through the worst of it. when i had my acl done, they gave me enough hydro to last a week and a half. the other thing they will probably do is run this skinny tube around the area and it will drip novacane for like 4 days so you wont even feel it.

thats what i heard that the medicine is good i just dont if the surgery is going to give me full use of my surgery again, and i want full use becasue i do a lot of outdoor activites. so if anyone has more advice than rough it out becasue roughing it out casue early arthritis and bone degernation from what i hear

they will give you the right amount of pain related drugs....itll be fine...these days its not that big of a deal...good luck

my dad just got it done 2 months ago and hes already had to go back to get the scar tissue removed and he has trouble getting in and out of the car nor can he have anyone come near his shoulder so good luck!!!
