So the only problem you guys have is with the way the show is judged?

I was thinking that maybe the problem was not enough activities. Anyone agree?

Here's an example of something we are working on now. It would be 6 Playstation 2s connected through a router and all these PS2s would be running Gran Turismo 4. (with separate TVs for each racer) We would have to charge about a $1.00 or more per race to make profit from it. (also we would have to have restrictions/limitations to make sure we maximize profits) So what do you think about such an activity? Right now my teacher does not know if it'll happen because she believes that people may not pay to play. So that means I'll have to see if there's interest in the activity, so we can invest money into it.

p.s. we're still not sure if the PS2/GT4 thing will work out, so don't expect it there until I can confirm it.

I dont think there will be a large enough crowd to warrant setting all that up, In all the years I have done this show I have never seen a huge spectator turnout, I mean even the show cars arent out in huge numbers, so just stick with the basics, Spend more to promote the show and to get more cars and spectators, If you dont have people coming to look at the cars, there is no point to have the cars there, ya know?

I agree with Brett. You need to build the show up first. I think you will be wasting time and maybe money doing all that. My comment about judging was refering to the comment about NAPI judges. They suck, so you have an edge on them. Just take the time to promote your show and get it off. Then next year, if this year's show shows promise, add a couple of things to it. Later, QD.

My only problem is the judging (even tho I won a trophy) and there was a mixup with the trophies, and they were supposed to send me my trophy, but I never heard from them. The judging was done by spectators, and competitors, which can be biased if everyone in a club votes for one of their cars as Best in class, etc. And QD, that comment about NOPI judging, you had me cracking up, cuz it's sooooo true!!!! Hey guys Roswell worked hard on getting some exotics out there and plan on having an even better event next year....If this show gains participation it would make for an awesome show. I would encourage all that can to participate in the show...It looked a lot better than most local shows i have been to. Next year go out and support it.

They have the exotics out there every year, They didnt do anything that the class's before them every year have done.

Oh I agree, trust me, thats why I show for the past 3 years even though the turnout is never great, I support it in hopes it will get bigger

yeah it was a good show....we had us a good time 4 wheelin it through the parking lot. but they need to get rid of the voter choice bs, the dude in the stock green dodge beat me and my buddys truck because he went the bathroom with a bunch of the voter things and voted for himself...lame. but its just a high school show, i didnt make a big deal out of it. good show!
