AN-R HEADERS :(

1st off, I KNOW these headers rock... but after speaking w/ my contact there they are going straight production from now on, so no more custom headers coming outta AN-R. :( They did recommend a shop that can fab up a header for my B swap in an EF that WILL clear AC and PS (hey, it's still my daily... I have other toys for all out performance... LOL). They recommended:

I'm game for that... I got other toys to drive. I'd donate my car so they can R&D B swapped EF jigs. As long as I get a cut on the pricing. :)

We are making our B series header now. If we werent so backed up on Turbo Manifolds to make we would have more info and some testing done. However, this is the way R&D goes.

I have my EF that i can mock a header up on, thats no problem. Its just time, thats the biggest factor right now.

Ill give you some info that i havent told anyone, here is our prioritys right now:
1 7/8 H22 Header ,2in H22 header test on GOINFASTERTHANUs car next week
3 Bottom Mount Full Race Style Turbo Manifolds
B series header testing

We are also in talks to mass produce some turbo manifolds for some Kia guys.

If you cant wait for us, thats prefectly fine. ANR is no longer in business, there guy that was making their headers quit some time ago. Andrew now runs ANR and he is shopping the old design overseas in Taiwan. They will be mass produced, much like the knockoff Rage/Hytech header and should be here in the next 3-4 months, look for a $600-700 price tag maybe more.

However, RMF designed the ANR header years ago (ANR stands for Andrew N Randy), and he has said if Andrew attempts to reproduce those headers he will sue him outright. so its up in the air as to what is going on with ANRs future.

For an EF, i still like the RMF header, however they are at LEAST a 4-5 week wait. Ive stopped taking orders for the RMF because i have 3 people waiting over 6 weeks an have not gotten theres. RMF injured himself and was out for more than a week so its getting VERY backed up.

The Rage/Hytech header did well on my motor, however, they get them in batches, 50-75 at a time, an sell out FAST. Im not sure if they have any left.

SMSP does great work, last i heard he was a 3-4 month wait. His headers always perform well, i had a customer with one here locally that made pretty good numbers with it. I know dave pretty well and talk to him maybe 1-2 times a month.

Expect to pay $650+ with all the headers i listed. REAL DEAL Hytechs start at $1150 an go up

Lastly what is your setup. that depends largely on what header i would reccomend. if its a b16, stay away from the bigger tube headers. If its a bigger motor, then you need to look at primary design and collector.

So the Rage/Hytech is still a go???? Damn, I can't keep up with all the Days of our Headers shit. lol. I agree with Vteckidd, if you can wait on a MSPi custom it will make you happy. If not, SMSP, Hytech, RMF would all be very good choices. I am not 100% sure about AC, PS compatibility with any of those though. I'm sure they have a choice that is offered. The last SMSP I saw for B series was not ac,ps compatible. Good luck with whatever you decide, I hope you get the numbers you are shooting for.

That's why I said I need a custom header... a prod header (DC Sports, etc) is not gonna be in line with what I need. I can wait... I'm pretty patient. Just don't sleep on me Mike... cash is in hand. :)

Hey Mike... I'ma go ahead and order the Hytech tomorrow for the EF. But we can use yours on my stroker (EG) motor. I wanna go ahead and grab some for the EF though as it's my daily and I am still modding it little by little. DO NOT FORGET THAT I AM WAITING THOUGH RETARD. :) Oh, and if you do NOT hurry and email/call me about dialing in the funny stuff for my EF you're gonna get FIRED!!!! Don't MAKE me bring out my gangsta-cracka side on you boy. :)
