My "headset plug" seems to be jammed( atleast thats my best guess). If i pull out the cable to my desk speakers, no music plays out the laptop speakers. If the cable to my desk speakers is in, it only plays out of my right desk speaker...

Its starting to bug the hell outa me, and I dont know what to do.

It's the headset port. If I wiggle the cable around while its in, it will catch sound every once in a while...

Durtyspeed was sayin get a new one, take it apart, blah blah blah...

Is there anybody local to me that can help me out? I really don't wanna take it apart myself, in fear that I'll ruin it.

My best guess without looking at it would be that the connection to the jack is loose. If that is the case you will have to figure out some way to make the connection better via taking it apart and sodering it or something of that sort.

hm - they're like a cd player

if you open your laptop up - look at the headphone jack - you'd see what look like little metal clips that'd the male plug of the headphones would connect to - one of them ( or all of them ) are prolly got loose and misaligned - simple fix is to take a small screwdriver or knife and carefully align them back straight

the problem? you gotta oepn up your laptop
