View Full Version : S13 240SX SE HATCHBACK FOR SALE
Up for sale is a 1992 240sx se hatchback. Its red and has cloth interior. The S13 has a KA24DE motor with about 224xxx miles on it but dont get me wrong, it runs real strong. Starts up with no problem and the tranny doesnt grind. The car will need some cosmetic work but I mean come on its a 1992. I love the car but my mom doesnt so I am forced to sell it asap. The car has a aftermarket cold air intake and a aftermarket muffler. The car sounds really nice. Well hit me up on my cell if interested 4047548446. Haha yeah I know the pipe is pointing down. If I was to keep the car, I would fix it but other wise....i'm not too worried about it. So keep laughing all you want, but I can sell a car for more then you can. :) But anyways there are no problems that I know of. I dont think 200$ is going to matter when you cant sell it cause of the "mods"...besides, that stupid movie isnt out yet... maybe after that comes out, you could try selling it for the whole 200$ more... :rolleyes: I WAS intrested, I wouldnt have raced it...only used it as a daily but you seem to be quite sarcastic. I was only trying to help with your sale. :slap:

by the way does the dash have any cracks in it?
Yeah, unfortunatly the dash has 2 cracks in it. I could find you a crackless dashboard but I mean its just 2 cracks, I personally could care less. They both are located over the cluster, straight behind the steering wheel.
And yes the car will most deff make it. This car can prolly make it to Cali and back if driven calmly. I dont know if I will make it to call if it will be red-lined the entire way there. But like I said, the car is very reliable.

Suggestion:
Stop trying to sell this car for 1800 dollars in the forum.
Sell it for 2500 in the Autotrader. Less than 1 week from the Tuesday that the 'trader issue drops, it WILL be sold.
If you place the ad by Friday, it will be in by Tuesday.
Actually I already have the 240 on autotrader because someone else told me the same thing as you did. Thanks for looking out tho.

What he meant is that he has someone saying they want it but are waiting to get the money. He isn't going to sell it for less than 1800, he would rather wait on that person who offered 1800. If someonoe else took him the money sooner, then they could have it.

I'm sorry, I have to say this...I own an 89 coupe, it has 170k on the body, had a rebuilt KA24E with 120k on it. Interior is good, exterior was decent...and has some rust, but expected because the original owner lived up north. I traded my RX7 TII that wasnt running, a OEM CF hood, and 500 bucks for this 240. so about $1500
I am not one to look at kbb to find out what a car is worth, but I was curious. for your make/year/model/mileage, in excellent condition with the options you have available on your car, $1985.00
now I know kbb is full of shit most of the time because car people like us, the value of a car is usually higher.
now, lets see what you have here...outside damage, poor interior, high-mileage motor...not going to even count your "mods"
IMO, this is way overpriced

no doubt that the car in great condition is 1950 but dude come on...I mean people are so smart when others are selling cars but when it comes to you...your 240 is worth all 10K I mean come on people buy cars like my 240 to build them, not to drive it as its a 2005 M3 that will walk anything and will have like 000005 miles on it. This car is old and it does need a lot of work. That is stated in the begining of the thread. The car is worth all 1800 IMO because who ever will buy it will end up putting in a new motor anyways so there. Good luck your your 240 and go ahead and sell it for the KBB value.
We'll see who comes out on top.
The car is just chillin here...its my dd and i already put 1.4K miles on it. It gave me NO problems whats so ever. The car is for sale but I am not in a hurry to sell it. Throw some offers at me. Will consider trades. If it will not sell, no biggie.

Yeah it works but its not motorized. Its the one you just push out and it opens about 2 inches or so.

Anyway... when you do decide to sell it again... I'd like to know more.
How did the front end damage happen?
Is it merely cosmetic damage?
As in... Can it be fixed with just a hood, front bumper and fender?
Have you had any sort of body shop estimate?
Does the car pull at all?
Are the rad or bumper supports at all damaged?
Any fluid leaks?
You know when and if the clutch was done?
Compression?
When were the brakes last done?
Do they vibrate at all?
Im sure i can think of some more for you later but that'd be it for now.
