........ i used to think they were awesome... but the more stuff i cook on it.. the less i like them... yea it's fast, but it almost steams the meat instead of cooking it... maybe i'm doin somethin wrong... what's the best temp setting??? mainly for chicken breast?

mine doesn't have a temp setting, it's just on or off.. I usually just let it cook til it automatically cuts off (about 6-7 mins) and it's usually done. Burgers are sometimes quicker, but I always make sure I cook chicken good... dont need any crazy bugs that they carry.

yeah, mine doesnt have temp settings either, it must be the cheap kind. i just put it on and let it cook and hope its done and disease-free

im not a real big fan of them, they seem to cook the flavor out of any good meat imo

I do salmon, hamburgers (both during the winter). Grilled cheese and quesadillas year round (chicken, cheese, steak you name it)

i don't know... to me it seems to change the flavor, or almost boil the meat...

i have the hamilton beach grill, which is a knockoff, but it has temp settings, and is great! especially for those days when you don't wanna wait for the charcoal to fire up...and think, i marinate my chicken and hamburgers with Dale sauce on occasion..you can pick it up at any grocery store...
