My legs arent nearly as sore as I thought they were going to be but my upper body hurts pretty bad.
I am up on lanier if anyone would like to meet up one weekend and ride alil.
(Supra Lanuch with 3 sacks)
i do its been a year or 2 and the bad part is i have a lake house in alabama on the tennesse river lol

The water on the river prolly isnt very smooth is it? We usually go in the morning before all the people get out there while the water looks like a sheet of glass.
we mostly go in shoals creek it splits into the river its mostly smooth but in the early morning or late afternoon is the best time
are creek is the size of most rivers lol

I bet you doing have to turn around that much on the river do you lol.
the tennessee river where i live is blocked by dams so there is not much current and u have about a 11-12 miles between the ones buy my house

Havent gone this season, still finishing tower speaker rack, and new sub boxes. Water here has been as high as 71 degrees, stay out of the feeder creeks and its warmer. If you hit Sinclair or Lanier look for a yellow Tiga w/ a boomin system and massive rack of speakers and Hella fogs.

I think the funniest thing we have ever seen on the lake involved wakeboarders that had one to many.
The guy that was driving was weaving all over the lake and you could tell just by looking at him that he was trying to go straight. The boarder behind the boat wasnt to bad but you could tell you was atleast tipsy. He kept falling and the driver would get like 1/2 way down the cove before he figured and the spotters figured out that the guy had fallen. This happen prolly 4 or 5 times in a row. Then DNR shows up. They pull over next to them and board the boat. You watch them empty about 24 beers into the water plus the rest of a gallon liquor bottle. They are sitting there for like an hour. Then DNR drives the boat and its passangers over to a beach and makes them all get out of the boat. They sat there for another hour or so. Then after that they cuffed 2 people I assume the boarder and the driver drove off with them leaving the rest of the people to drive the boat some where.
This why you dont drive a boat drunk you either beach it or archor it. :goodjob:

I am not so sure I could even get up drunk. It would kind of assuming to see though. We would just have to watch for DNR because they like to check wakeboard boats for some reason.
I am glad I was worried cas it showed that you read my PM but there was no response. Then I sent you an IM on AIM and there wasnt an answer either. Oh good to know :goodjob: . My daughter thinks it is funny when the person behind the boat crashes or jumps, and she claps when you land.

oh thats not nice  jk i like my robo foot!
~The_Duke~
04-11-2006, 05:31 PM
OH DAMN!!! that looks like it hurt. How did you do that?
Since you have a robo foot does that mean it doesnt hurt to kick people? j\k
My list of injures from wakeboarding alone include 1 mild concusion, 9 sticths in my forehead(yes the board hit me while it was still on my feet), and some stretched ligaments in my shoulder.

Yeah Im on alatoona about to buy a tower. Cant wait to get out there the water is freezing but I still wanna go. I cant wait.
~The_Duke~
04-12-2006, 04:33 PM
How cold is the water on Alatoona? The water in lanier was 57 F 2 weekends ago. It is prolly about low 60s now might be about the same with all the rain we have had.
That isnt to bad. I am just a pansy with cold water so I wore a wet suit.
im not going till the water gets warmer i cant stand the cold lol

My brother go in the water last week without a wet suit on, only have I told him he best not put one on after calling me a pansy for putting one on.

That is a nice board man. What brand is it?
May I ask what that black thing on the right hand side of the pic of the bottom is?

I'm not actually sure of the brand. If you are talking about the black thing on the first pic, that is a WARNING label. Later, QD.

Those warning labels make me laugh.
I think the best one is the one on non-coastgaurd approved "life jackets"
The one on the "Advanced" bindings are a riot also. You should read them sometime for a good chuckle atleast.

I went with out a wet suit also in lake lanier. It was about 61 degrees, it wasnt to bad once you got used it but the first climbing in part was pretty rude. It helped alot since it was almost 90 outside.

If you have older bindings that are starting to loosen up. Stick them in a tub full of water that is as hot as you can get it. It tightens them right back up. I had to do that with mine this weekend. they are pushing 4 yrs of heavy use. The bright orange Liquid Force Ultra Suxs

liquid force period sucks... I have been through tons of equipment and pairs of bindings and every time LF seems to fall apart faster than most. EVERYONE that is interested in wakeboarding should go to the Wakeboarding Masters on memorial day weekend. its in callaway gardens. I have been every year for 4 now and its a blast just to get out there on the weekend and watch all the PRO's kick ass ;) btw take all your boards get them signed and everything by all of them they walk around and talk to ya...

I have had very good luck with Liquid force stuff, I mean I have had the things for about 4 yrs and we tend to spend about 100 hrs per summer out on the water. Altough my dad's hyperlite stuff does seem to be holding together alil better.
That would be fun. I have never been to anything like that.
