I was thinking about it but i dont know what rules to go by... The ndra rules say 1 thing and the rules on the nopi site say another.... Here the rule for the comp 4 class on nopi's site..

Comp 4 Sport Compact FWD/AWD/RWD cars allowed. Unibody chassis, all glass, full interior, drag radial class, motor swaps no power adder

See how it says drag radial class? Does this meen no slicks? Then the NDRA site it says slicks are ok... I need to know what one to belive....

Comp4 slicks are allowed, the rules on the site are the new 2006 rules...Your min. weight is 2150, and Comp4 doesnt require you to have a full interior, just front half interior, carpet, headliner, door panels, etc...

Power street does, full exhaust, full interior, with 1 power adder...Up to a 235-60-15 drag radial can be used, but so far only BFG, Nitto can be used, I think..

you dont have to run slicks if you dont want to... it says SLICKS ALLOWED... not required.

why wouldnt you want to run slicks BTW?

Without slicks...i would have never ran 12's with my NA h22 setup with the power i was making.....

slicks = better traction in turn lower your ET's. :goodjob:

just got to get used to it....

thats good.... but 1.7-1.8 60fts will be better :D

dont forget to slip the clutch aslo.... if we can use Autozone and OEM axles with 600-700whp and 25" - 26" slicks and twin disk clutches..... you can do it!

keep practising on slicks....

should just go to NDRA and run your street tires.... either way... it'll be fun to compete!
