You don't have to eat if you don't want to :). Its fun to just go check out other peoples cars and chat with people that have the same interests as you do. If you wana see pics from last months meet check them out on darkrume.com under the photo gallery. We met up at k-mart last time and had like 15 cars show up just for the ride down there. By the time we go there it was already packed...
