Dragon Run???

I just thought I'd see what kind of interest there would be on a run through The Tail of the Dragon...

It is about 3 hrs. N of ATL, so it would be a full day trip, but it could be fun especially if enough people are interested and I expect there are a lot of good places for pics too!

We can do a one day thing and not stay anywhere. Maybe the people that don't want to stay overnight can meet up with you guys up there and head back together or vice versa.

OK, so who's coming? PM me for my address/number if you want to meet up and caravan with me on Friday morning (8-9am...don't be late!).

Also, if you are planning on coming and want to meet up with us that are already up there, good luck finding out where we are! Cell phones don't work up here! Your best bet would be to try to leave early enough to meet up w/ us before we left the Fontana Dam campgrounds for the day (like get there by 8 cause I'm heading out early on Saturday to get some driving in before all the S2Kers get on the dragon and cause a road jam (175+ are registered!)!

Plans for Friday's trip to the Dragon...

I plan on meeting up at the Kroger in Cumming, GA off of exit 14 on GA400 at around 8:30. At 9am, we'll be heading north. As of right now, I have no firm plans on stopping anywhere but there are 2 groups planning on leaving the same area around 10am (S2K's and NSX's). Right now, it's just me and Kevin (mid 80's turbo Z).

When we get to Blairsville, we'll be meeting up with another luder from preludepower.com (Matt). I said I'd call him when I got in the area between 11:30-12:30. He will be ready and waiting (probably at the McDonald's in town) around this time frame so once we get there, it will be a quick meet up and then continue to the Dragon.

There was an S2000 that went over an embankment into some trees. The driver is alright but the rest of the weekend was screwed up because of it. There was 3 cop cars, a motorcycle and the helicopter! :(

Had an awesome weekend though! Played with S's, NSX's, even a few other cars (new 350z) all on the dragon.

In the words of the NSX driver (cool guy BTW!), "You were right on my a$$!" lol :goodjob:

Yeah, on the angles...I was trying some new things out.

We saw the S2K group...you couldn't miss when they have 150+ cars!
