A lot of these spam companies actually purchase your E-mail address so they can send youmail about shit for sale. Do you think their spending of money compared to how much they make off that justifies doing that? Like say they spend $50 to purchase my address and I never buy anything. Doesn't seem like that would be good, business-wise. I guess it is isnce they still do it as heavily as they do. Has anyone on here actually bought anything from one of these links? I'll come home somedays after just a few hours at work and have 200-300 E-mails from these people. Later, QD.

thats a good point, but at the same time, there are probably enouh people out there who click those links and give the companies money just by all the advertising on some of those pages. Who knows why they keep doing it, All it does is piss me off and require me to get a new email address every 4 months because it just fills up my account.

Wow, 200-300 emails? I get spam, but not nearly that much.. I think they usually buy bulk email addresses.. $50 for one email address would be insane, but $50 for 500,000 could pay off. And no, I've never bought anything from spam, or even clicked on the links... it's always straight to the trash folder.

Thats how it works, they get them for nothing. 500,000 addresses, and if 1 person buys it they've paid for the addresses, and still made a profit on the product.

And there are a lot of idiots out there. Or there are a lot of people that are fat, small breasted, and have a small penis that won't get hard.

yeah i know some guys that used to do it and acutally bought email crawlers that search 10's of thousands of websites for valid email addresses...And after about 4 hours of running the program he obtianed roughly 300,000 addresses...mostly aol, yahoo, hotmail, and a bunch of domain based names. He made good money. Real good.
