She is running great and we just about changed everything, the car made 552 at 18psi on race gas 1hp under the limit for time attach and the class. so it should make for a nice show.

well 1 day down

it went like this


we missed first 2 out of 3 sessions. sessions 2 and 3 count for your position... so we finaly got the tire guy to put the dang hoosiers on the wheels.. and so we went out there and busted it off.....


well we won.. overall


turned a 35.2 fresh off the boat in heavy traffic (50+ cars in 3rd session)... and tommaro gona play around and try to knock off some more time.. i want a 33.. i dont care if its a 1:33.999

i want it.. and the car has it.. but i need a lap... and with that much traffic.. i duno if its gona happen...


2nd place was my co-driver form last year in GRAND-AM.. Cory Freidman in a 993 porsche twin turbo.. he turned a 36.9

then a corvette Zo6 ran finished up top 3 with a 39.5

then another z06 turned a 39.8

both Zohs on R compound tires and def NOT stock

and another Zoh finished up top 5 with a 42....



so it was a pretty good beating the supra put on the corvette boys... and i hated to tease them letting them think they were fast the 1st and 2nd session.. ya know.....


i got incar of the 35.2 but i want better incar with more of a open lap.. only thing is.. i broke my fisheye lense adaptor on my vid camera... sooooo ima do some superglueing tonite.. see if i can make it happen


the Supra did awsome.. performec flawlessly and was FAST... a little sketchy under breaking into 10a... i thought i was gona die one time.. but i made it... it handles great with these big grippy tires.. it really is a awsome car... if i pull off a 33 in it.. i will be VERY impressed with the car.. more impressed then i EVER have been with these cars..


i got sum pictchurs but i left my camera cord at the race trak.. ima try to barrow one from my friend later..


it was a good day for GSC and expect good things tommarow too..

Well we did it again! Leh drove the Wheels off the car again today. his best time for todays event was a 1.33.561 which by the way was the fastest lap of the entire weekend! second fastest lap of the weekend went to an open wheeled mazda car which ran a 1.33.567. Deffinatly an awesome display from Leh and the supra. We had all the Z06 guys talking up a storm. So chock one up for the supra. and let the Supra vs z06 shit talking begin!

Next time setup is going to be a little more extreme. we are going to go for a new brake setup including a full cup car brembo setup. 14" 6 piston front and 14" 4 piston rear. along with some more weight mods (if i can find some more to take out) a recaro racing seat with true 6 point harnesses and a new stearing wheel. Safety is now a big convern of mine knowing the true power the car has.

I did however get to go out with Leh in my car for a few laps this morning and was totally amazed at how much of a handfull the car is now. Leh can handle everything the supra can dishout, and the car we built has deffinatly gone above my abilities by leaps and bounds.

Video will need some editing and we will HOPEFULLY have it up tomorrow evening if not tuesday.

One thing that I have noticed: Leh SAWs the steering wheel a lot. Everytime you make an adjustment like that, you are losing a little bit of time; even if it is 0.01 seconds. That adds up, especially in the longer races. Certain cars require you to make some adjustments as you walk a fine line of balance, but he seems to do it a ton. He likes to bring the back end out as well (not good as far as getting the fastest times). He is still an incredible driver, so there isn't much I can say about that.

My buddy who runs his BMW up there said that there were two E36 M3s running in the 1:32s...

The GSC car is still behind the MTI Racing Z06 development car. It's street-legal and has turned a couple of 1:31 laps at Road Atlanta in traffic. This Z06 has a bit more power than that Supra however. Might also have a driver's advantage too.
