This is what I want

Two 12inch Subs
1 Amp

RCA's and signal wire is already run to the rear of the car. Battery is in the trunk.

I do not want any lights dimming or anything like that, it will fry my HID headlights and HID Fogs. So would i need a capacitor or something?

Sub and Amp reccomendation? Approximate cost with installation? Keep in mind I just want loud bass... SPQ is not important to me at all. I already have a nice HU with sub controls(frequency and level)

I would do it all myself but i HATE car audio. I stick the car maintenance and performance!!!

Let me know guys

So you want SHEER SPL...no SQ whatsoever? What is your price range?

As far as install, something simple or something showy? You saw mine so i have to reccomend Audio Designs. They are down on the Southside (Stockbridge), but WELL worth the drive :goodjob:

So basically:

Simple Install
SPL
Easily Removeable
2 12s off 1 amp
Under $1000

Im not the greatest with SPL since my setup is MOSTLY SQ...well more of SQL. So maybe someone else can reccomend some good loud stuff.

my opinion, go to best buys, buy two 12 inch punch 3, a good amp, and a q-logic box, and install kit. easy to remove, sound pretty good, and easy on the wallet. i did two 10 inch punch 2, amp, box and install, ALONG with components in all doors, in my old truck for 860,

The install you want, you can do. If you want a great audio store, I recommend Traffic Jams in Buford. Yeah so the above BMW trunk pic had x-box and neon, and was "showy" the point is to show they have the skill to do whatever you need.

is it just me or has every post this guy made been to promote his shop?

anyways.

for under a grand I would look into something like the Kicker L7's. Then power the L7's off of a hifonics bx2005. If this is also going to be used for daily listening then I seriously doubt you are going to get all that loud though, MAYBE mid 140's with a VERY good box. With an SPL box, this set-up could very easily get you 150.

my comp is being gay and wont opne up anything now so I would use a Hifonics bx2005 (I believe is the model number for the amp, its 2000x1 at 1 ohm) for the L7's

first off I screwed up and said you wanted dual 2 ohm subs, I should have said dual 4 ohm.

theres a wiring diagram for you.

2 DVC 4 ohm subs in paralell/paralell for a final 1 ohm laod
