The Fun I Had Today.....

MARLBRO was holding a free event for thier customers who got an invite. So a friend of mine ( Lamar "civic95" on here ) he smokes and got this invite for him and a guest to come out to a event at Atlanta Motorspeedway today. This was by far the coolest shit I have ever done...... They had us suit up in the full race suits and everything for the first 2 events

Got to do 3 laps in a 1995 IROC AVENGER Race car, We hit about 140mph and I cant believe the g-force you feel going into the 28 degree turns, Was amazing!!

Then we got to do 3 laps in a Panoz race car on the road course they have, That was quite a rush also, The way they handle is fuckin insane!!

Then we got to ride along in Mustangs for 3 laps of drifting.... Also very cool

Then we ate and got to meet and talk to Rick Mears ( For you young folks he was a major name in the Indy Racing in the 80's-90's )

All in all, a fun as day!! I gues it pays to know a smoker, He may be killin himself slowley by smoking, But because of that I got a great day at the track!! :D

there was one months back held by lexus... it was in no way as grand as the one you went to but this one was decent... they had MAD competing cars you can do whatever you want on them... all of em were auto though... I had an invite but you had to be 21 to participate so im like fuck it.... some of my cousins went though they had fun. They said the M3s owned everything there even though it was held by lexus

that is the panoz GT-RA, they use them for their racing schools but also have a dedicated racing series for those cars. if you do the panoz racing school that is what you will be behind the wheel of.

the oent hat they race in the alms is jus a lil differnt, its basically there old trans am car.. the one that htey have in the racing schools , the design, its like a downgraded version of the ol GT1 "batmobile" car that they used ot race

yeah, but you figure its going to be good for the company cuz its going to boost sales seeing both factory cars going against each other, and it will make the porshe look even better since its gunna be in a smaller class but still be able to beat the audi...the only thing is, not this racing season but maybe next. right now audi's working on a new car...either the r9 or r10
