from the sound of it, and from what i know about 4x4/awd the engine probably isnt a k series. Also the motor will likely be mounted like the s2k. Im sure you could find a tranny to fit it in a swap, but i only see the swap really fitting in a s2k.

They've been making 1.6L turbo motors for a long time now... in their jetski's.

the motor looks as if it IS mounted transverse, so if the bellhousing is close, i would be willing to bet it can be adapted to a FWD car... a hella torquey FWD car!

Woohoo. I like being first to step up to the plate and say, hey dumbass this isnt honda's first turbo motor. In the other thread, making this one useless.

The car will be waste of time like the current RL, to heavy and to slow and overpriced!

Owch! It sounds like you just don't like Acura. The current RL is guilty of being pricey, but its not exactly overpriced. If you look at the features that every RL is loaded with, and knew what level of luxury that could bring, you might think differently. Sure, it doesn't have a V8 like other competitors, but if you drive it, the V6 is more that enough. I have actually taken one on a long test drive. The RL is a technology powerhouse, and I am sure the RDX will be pretty cool too. SH-AWD is pretty advanced and damned practical. As far as it being heavy, look at other competitors, and you might be surpised. Oh, and the RL is not supposed to be a sports car. If you want something sporty from Acura, thats what the TL is for. Its only a waste of time for people who can't appreciate such a machine.

Its a K23, and its mounted transversly, like a CRV, which is also AWD/4x4... The RDX is acura's version of the CRV... its DOHC i-VTEC 2.3L with 8.8:1 C/R. 16 valve. 240hp @ 6000rpm, 260 lbs-ft torque @ 4500rpm. redline is 6800 RPM. Only tranny avaliable is the 5 speed auto. Price will probably be close to $30,000 or so.
