replace turbo sr20det

Whats up guys, question. How hard is it to change the stock t25 turbo for the sr20det in my 91 240sx hatch without pulling the motor. (turbo blown) Thx.

fairly easy. just pb blast the bolts and let them sit in advance.. you may still break the fasteners.

Its not hard at all. Just use PB on the bolts like green91 suggested and make sure you hit the DP bolts too. Use only quality 6 point sockets and you shouldn't round anything off but the may still break if your not careful. It shouldn't take you more than an hour to get it off.

you have to remove the manifold and turbo as one peice. undo down pipe too and oil and coolant lines. it should come out easy
