NEED HELP ASAP!!!

i just finished putting my motor in today its a zc everthing is hooked up correctly. the car starts fine it just idles at 2000 rpm's and sounds like a dirt bike.when i rev it up a little it on goes to 3000 rpms and thats it and the intake pipe gets loud like its acting as an exaust even though its not blowing anything out.there is no smoke coming out the exaust,the motor shakes just a little and has the problems i mentioned above. there are no codes no check engine light. is it possible this is a timing issue? its really confusing to me why does the intake sound like exaust? HELP before i light this car up!!!

check the timing, line the gears and crank up. Make sure the plug wires are on correctly as well

i cant find a picture of the positon the cams should be in.i think the arrows are suppose to be straight up when you rotate the motor to tdc and the little notches in the cam gears are suppose to be straight across from each other right? oh and i pulled the plugs and they are black as coal and were brand new until i started it last night.

not that anyone cares judging by the resonse i got from this post but i fixed it. its funny the first guy i called said check your compression and hung up on me.but the timing was off like a mother, it was 8 teeth off it revs so quick with my little 7 1/2lb fly wheel..whoo hoo rover power.and to the fool that cut me off in conversation,that was just rude ;)
