The car was sold due to being sick of body kits, automatics, and big wheels...etc.etc. I wanted something faster and all of that. A track car though... either 1/4 mile or SCCA- DONT KNOW YET. I wont be getting a new car until I get my license back. Which is a while from now. So you needa shove your "knowing all about me" nonsense up your fucking ass. Get a life- study up on someone else.

First, i never posted on this forum mainly because my car is not an import and I sure I would catch all kinds of hell so I just kinda lurk:-).... I have an 03 Mach 1 Mustang with tons of mods, pushing 430rwhp. I've raced it at the drag strip and my best time was 8.03 in the 1/8. I also know I have lots of work to better my times. Yes it is a mustang for those of you that hate mustangs, sorry:-). At the same time, I have a respect for people's cars whether it an import or American. It is someones pride and joy no matter, who it is made by, how many mods or what has been done to it. Some of us have to bust our ass working to add our mods. Fawk You, i don't know who you are, but I think your car looks awesome and i am sure it was tough to let go. I know i almost had to sell mine and cried for 2 days until i got it worked out to where i could keep it. But it sounds like you have a plan to get something new in time and just look forward to that goal. We all have our fair share of problems. It just saddens me to see people cristize others or be all up in other peoples shit about their faults or mis-comings. Kinda gives me the idea that they are too insecure to look at themselves so they pass the focus on to someone else..... we all know misery loves company.

True and your right...funning thing, people talk about how much what they have in horsepower yet they can't make it down the track faster than a car with lower horsepower. The car with more horsepower may not have the suspension, or the driver is just novice. There are all kinds of factors to take into a place when talking cars. Case & point, my car has 430rwhp. i am novice driver and no way have learned to drive it to it's potential and been beaten serveral times by cars with tons less mods than mine. Competition is good. I beleive in it, it makes us all want to try to better ourselves, cars etc. But respecting competition is even better...in my opinion of course. There is alwasy fun harmless smack talk and then there is that other side. I have a saying you find out a true man(woman) when you step into the boxing ring see if they fight fair or below the belt. It is all about integrity!:)

How funny you mention Pinks that is my favorite show. except when the cry babies show up. There was an epsiode with to rivleries out law cars down in orlando, i kept that one on my DVR! The point I'm trying to prove... or rather disprove, is that just because a motor is big doesn't mean it'll out-perform a smaller motor.

I've never seen a stock '06 Cobra yet and know nothing about them so I dunno what to say about that... however, at the track, there's no way in hell a stock C5 or Lightning will pull a faster ET than a stock Evo... both with adequate drivers... especially not an Evo IX... not to mention a IX should be able to tear apart any stock Cobra at the track too. Besides... who cares about stock vs stock? Its not like I goto the track and try to stage against cars with dealership tags.

First, i never posted on this forum mainly because my car is not an import and I sure I would catch all kinds of hell so I just kinda lurk:-).... I have an 03 Mach 1 Mustang with tons of mods, pushing 430rwhp. I've raced it at the drag strip and my best time was 8.03 in the 1/8. I also know I have lots of work to better my times. Yes it is a mustang for those of you that hate mustangs, sorry:-). At the same time, I have a respect for people's cars whether it an import or American. It is someones pride and joy no matter, who it is made by, how many mods or what has been done to it. Some of us have to bust our ass working to add our mods. Fawk You, i don't know who you are, but I think your car looks awesome and i am sure it was tough to let go. I know i almost had to sell mine and cried for 2 days until i got it worked out to where i could keep it. But it sounds like you have a plan to get something new in time and just look forward to that goal. We all have our fair share of problems. It just saddens me to see people cristize others or be all up in other peoples shit about their faults or mis-comings. Kinda gives me the idea that they are too insecure to look at themselves so they pass the focus on to someone else..... we all know misery loves company.

I believe, every car has it's pros and cons. Sadly, like we all have it sounds like you have ran into some people that like to criticize anything that is not theirs. I don't necessarily believe bigger motor is better. I also get my fair that i am reminded i am girl and don't know much. I my know everything but I am learning. Some of the latest imports I have seen are bad ass, small motor or not. They may not have the same HP but they are lighter and in my mind quick as hell. At the same time a cobra or even a lightning with some very small mods, chip, pully, intake and you are up to 400 to 600rwhp. But Like I said you can't just look at horsepower or engine size (thought it helps), too much can make it bog and through off a tight launch and in turn miss the 60ft . There is so much more into building a highperformance modified car. You know we win some and we loose some... It is just too bad at the end of the day we can say hey man good race! And personally that is what I liked on that one episode of Pinks in orlando with the outlaw cars. It was the ONLY one that i saw done right! No cry babies or car lengths.

Appreciate the warning...it's all good. My Comments were not completly directed at helping or sticking up for Lea anne, it was more general. I don't know all the history behind it so really it is none of my business nor was i neccesarily saying one person was right or wrong, sane or insane:) Personally I have been there, in the right and my share of wrong. Oh the train wrecks i have been on :D. People have been all up in my shit because i put myself out there and asked for it and other times I think they just had nothing better to do. As I have gotten older, especially since i hit my mid 30's i have learned that though someone may irritate me, why waste the brain power to worry about it or say anything...pick & choose my battles. I may own a Turbo/Nitrous CRX and a 73 Datsun 510, but I like and give respect to anything that is fast, whether it is a Mustang, Civic, or a Turbo Diesel Super Duty. To me fast is fast and it doesn't matter what you do it in. I think one of the problems a lot of domestic car owners have with imports is that they group the ricer fags with LED Wiper Squirters, APC Taillights and huge Mooserack Wings with the rest of us REAL enthusiasts. What they don't seem to realize is that the rest of us hate ricers too! ;)
