Has anyone ever been to Hawaii here? My family, Scott, and I will be going the first week of April. We are staying on Maui at the Embassy Suites, and we even signed up for one night to go to a Luau... I was just wondering if there was something really good that I need to know about before we go.

I use to live in Oahu over in Pearl City. Went to Pearl City high school. I never went to Maui so I couldn't really tell you anything about it.

If your going to be staying there for a short amount of time it would be really fun. But since I lived there for 16 years, it really sucked being stuck to one island. You can go to stores there and get things that you arn't able to get here in GA. It's really humid there hut GA gets hotter in temp wise.

I went to Maui last Jan. and loved it. It is like no other. But in Jan. the water is freezing so don't jump in the water of a dock like I did. And the food prices are alot different a big mac is like 8 bucks. I liked it so much I'm going back this time to stay a year or so.

I lived on Oahu for 3 years...my dad was stationed at Scofield. I was too young to really enjoy it there, its really laid back, and fun...but VERY EXPENSIVE. When I lived there gas was 3.00 for regular...I don't even wanna know what it is like today

I went the Big Island and Kauai...very natural, the big island has a pretty cool beach where the sand is black
