I personally never really cared too much for evo's, something about the 4 doors that doesnt turn me on......i would much rather have a dsm than an evo....but thats just me.... Evos are bad ass cars, but i think for the money you can have a much "badder" car. Supra, mr2, 300zx, 3000gt vr4, rx7,Nsx,Skyline...basiclly the cars that started it all, and are still doing there thing 14 years later down the road....I like the old lancer evolution better than the new ones.....

No it's not. It's much MUCH harder to go from 13 to 12 than it is from 17 to 15 seconds. People can run 17s all day long and pull a good 60' and boom - run a 15.5. Getting a 12 takes a lot more if you were running 13s before. The faster you get the harder it is to squeeze time off your E.T. Wait 'till you get into the 12s, Paul, you'll find out, heehe. You can build 2-3 civics to what the evo cost, yeah - because parts are cheap as hell, who cares? If you like civics, build a civic. If you like evos, build an evo. If you wanna spend 30k on a car and get a 10-12 year old car, get a supra or an RX7.

Yeah, cuz for one hopefully nobody in their right mind will try to sell a 100k, 93-94 Supra for $30k, unless its already single etc. and even then it's likely ragged all to hell.

Unfortunately, I have seen it. But this was a few years back when I was looking for a supra - ended up with an N/A one because I couldn't afford a TT. There weren't any under 30 grand - any one I saw for sale that had under 50k miles was going for at LEAST $40k.

Maybe the market has settled down some on there, I dunno. :D

Oh I know, I've seen it too. But like I said, those people weren't in their right minds haha. I was about to buy a 94 with 35k miles on it for $32,500 so not everybody is insane when it comes sales time haha.

yeah i gave up trying to find one.....I was ready to sell the 2 and everything but couldnt find a black or red 6 spd, the closest one i found was in texas and the guy wouldnt go down 19k so i didnt take it.......

well, just like most cars, you have to do something outstanding to be orginal. I personally never really cared too much for evo's, something about the 4 doors that doesnt turn me on......i would much rather have a dsm than an evo....but thats just me.... Evos are bad ass cars, but i think for the money you can have a much "badder" car. Supra, mr2, 300zx, 3000gt vr4, rx7,Nsx,Skyline...basiclly the cars that started it all, and are still doing there thing 14 years later down the road....I like the old lancer evolution better than the new ones.....
