Well I'm in the process of putting a t3/t4 turbo on my KA...for instance say the motor was basically stock but strong enough to hold say 10lbs of boost...how much power would you guesstimate...200-210 ish?

more than that. the cheapest way to do it it is find someone who is upgrading an sr and buy all their shit. the turbo and injectors will be good to 220whp no problem.

good site, owner knows just about everything there is to know about 240sxs... from the site 8 psi netted close to 250whp w/ a t3/t4...
10 psi is a lofty goal, on a t3/t4 it'll be more than SR 370ccs can handle I believe...

yeah, i would say closer to 300hp with 10lbs. however, beware of your ringlands. they dont like much over 8lbs unless you have AM pistons/rings.

Stock KA-T's with proper tuning, and fuel can hold 350, Dennis from Unstable Hybrids has been running 15 psi and 350hp for a couple of years now, no problems. Your biggest killer is the KA timing curve, you will need something to control your timing otherwise it will pop. We generally run a MSD6BTM on our KA-T's to give the ignition system more voltage, and a boost refrenced timing retard. A good tuning option is the Greddy E-manage, works like the SAFC2 but unlike the SAFC2 the emanage can control the timing just like the MSD unit can.

What are the specs of the turbo, exhaust and compressor AR? I was running a T3/T4 .48AR 50trim making 238 at 6 psi, running my old Holset of a Cummins Disel at 12 psi I made 342, we did another KA-T with a T3/T4 .63AR 50 trim, and it made 296 at 10psi. So number vary depending on the turbo size. What manifold, fuel, management you using?

I appreciate it^^^ so i'm assuming you recommend the E-manage over the SAFC2 cuz i almost bought one today actually...is that recommendation?

I'll definitely be giving you guys a call and bringing the car in to inspect it for me...thanks

S-AFCII's work, but not nearly as well as a GReddy E-Manage or AEM EMS system will. rule of thumb: never short-cut yourself when it comes to a boosted car.
