View Full Version : Power door locks HELP!!!!!

Ok, so just picked up another teg, and the power door locks don't work, I checked the fuses and they're straight, but when I took off the door panels it seems that some of the wires have been spliced and such. Does anyone know how to fix this, AND YES I TRIED TO CONNECT THE WIRES BACK. NEED HELP ASAP, anyone good with this stuff?

try cleaning the contacts in the actual switch itself. my boys integra was giving him prblems like that.

Are you sure? because its not working period, it hasn't worked since I picked up the car, I WILL PAY SOMEONE TO FIX THIS!!!

hey fool, bring it over sometime. If they were spliced then someone prolly screwed with it to install an alarm...i got the factory repair manual to help.

Depends if i go to Savannah this weekend or not but may have time tomorrow evening or even tonight, not positive though...i'd imagine it's a simple problem.

well then I'm going to be given you a call tonight to see if I can bring the car in, I just spend $150 at baranco with len for all my parts for a tune up, did that last night, now I need to change the oil and pump some good ass gas because I don't have a tag right now due to emissions.

of course not dude, I just need to bring this car back to factory conditions, bought it 2 days ago, and spent mad $$$$ in the past 2 days. Didn't have any interior, no back seats, no trunk, and anything else you can imagine, I have restored most of it already, just need your help since you seem to be my mechanic/electric guy to fix all my car problems.
