i'm thinking your hatch doesn't have enough power to make them glow, any contact of the pads on the rotors would just bog the car down so much to even drive so it must be the LED's :2cents:

My rotors glowed too. But my rear caliper died and got stuck clamped down. At least I have a legitimate reason!
