I found a real nice clean one for sale guy wants 900$ for it. it has 135k outside is pretty clean, and everythign works, i havent test drove it yet, gonan try to this week. But is it worth the 900$? seems like a nice car to me, ive never owned a nissan, i wanted a 240 awhle back before everyone went crazy and jacked up the price on them. hows the aftermarket for the ca18et motors? Hows the transmission in them i hate working on transmissions? Anything should i look out for especially besides the obvious?

theres not a huge aftermarket following on the CA18ET motors, but some of the DET parts will swap over. and if you dont feel like having to custom order, or custom make something, the DET motors will drop in and bolt up just fine. just swap ECU's, harnesses, and whatever else you want and go.

is the tranny an auto or manual? the auto's are crap, while the manual trannys are good for 400hp easily. if its an auto, swap it, but i suspect that since its turbo its already in a 5spd configuration.

That motor is junk. There was a guy on zilvia that put one in his s13 about 4 years ago. Nasty.

i think it was sold. I prob wont get it dont need another car takin up space. But it is a 5spd. i read that the motors were aight for 200-250. if its stillthere ill give u the number.

Yeah no shit. A $900 car probably has a perfect condition rebuilt motor.

Even brand new they dont have very much potential.

funny you should say that because my $900 coupe came with a rebuilt SOHC KA. too bad i had to pluck the 'truck motor' out... :jerkit:

they make around 130hp stock. a friend of mine was making 310 on the stock bottom end with a T4, 450cc injectors, boost controller, FMIC, and a Haltech and it was only mildly tuned.

The point is an s13 is better in pretty much all categories than that car. A stock 91 s13 with a strong dual cam is faster, can handle better, more potential, and you can get them for cheaper than 900 running.

anyways, JITB yeah im still here, but only on occassion. too many fucktards here for my mechanical mind. congrats on the Pro! hope to see it out soon. :)
