I'm not sure what he was doing on the first 2 run, but I know he didn't have the bottle in it because his bottle is at my shop. I also looked in the back of it and no bottle so I think he was just screwing around because I told him all his car would do is 13s all day so I think he was being a smartass. Good last run he had though he didn't even launch the car and still ran a 12.3. Not bad in my opinion.Good job CRAFTY:goodjob:

I seriously hope that a Z could run way faster then those traps with that much power even spinning down the track.

We did not ask Johnathon from Max velocity what boost or setup he was running that day but I know for sure hew was not running high boost due to traction reasons and was not on the bottle.

Yes, that was it in the pics in the other thread. It was running stock boost, a 30 minute street tune which was set rich for safety, and no 2nd gear and ran 13.04 at 114 on 205/60/15 yok es100's. But at least I got her to the track. :D

about the tt 350z.. it seemed like he wasnt heating the slicks well, and he bogged every launch a bit. shifting was very slow. its times did not do the car justice.

You can contact Maximum Velocity in Rossville Ga for the dyno graphs of the car before the exhaust was done. Talk to Jonathon. And the car was on low boost this weekend, and no bottle due to them only being able to run dot drag radials and not slicks. The car idles like a V8, it def had the turbos to make the numbers he claims, and it def had the nitrous to get the numbers he claims.

Like I said I was just making my opinon on the car based upon what it ran at the track. I know everyone is saying this and that about it but it means nothing if it can not perform. Nobody knows how the car runs except for the owner just like any case. Its so traditional for people to pump all there freinds up on how fast a car is and they never race it because everyone would know how slow it is. Then when they do run it there is a thousand excuses why it ran so crappy. Not saying for this car, but in general. I guess I would like to see the car run when its running everything it has thats all.

He will be running most of the NDRA series races this year. I understand what you are saying though. This is the first time they have had the car at the track so I'm sure they are still trying to figure out the setup to get it to hook. I was just stating the facts of what the car put down and what kind of horsepower it could make. They are still doing testing on the suspension for setup which is why they were there this weekend.

yea guys.. my whole track day was a big waste... my rear drums are shot out (havent touched the brakes since i have had the car) and they wouldnt hold enough to heat up the slicks... and the car WOULD NOT go into 2nd gear at high rpms. all 3 of my runs i had to sit there and let the rpms drop to about 3k rpms to get it into second.. there is a bushing that is missing from my shifter that i overlooked when i put a new linkage in. also that tune from main stream is not functional.. not sure what the deal is... gonna take it back up there and let them look at it. (car runs great with a p13.. wont even idle with the ems)
