First off let me just say that in know way am I talking shit about a
crx. ( being as I have owned em before)
also this thread is based solely on my own opinion.

ok with that said im just wondering, what makes a crx worth so much?

I witnessed a guy turn down a 40th anniversary edition accord
that ran like the day it was made. It only had like 105k miles on
and when it ran it was just smooth as hell. The guy wanted
$3,000 for it.(bone stock)
But instead he turnes around and buys a '89 crx si w/ 220k miles on it
and a body kit, that needed 2 front tires and a power steering pump for $3,000.
when I asked him why he turned down such a good car he said
"did you see those rims"? and also "I'm going to build it up to make some crazy power". (bone stock si)

I just dont see what is so great about them to make people buy them for
that kinda price, or sell them for that much.
yeah I understand the "potential" they have but, for $3,000 I believe
some of that "potiential" should be included in the price.

just a question I have been kicking around in my head.

A 40th edition accord? They have not been making accords that long.

As far as the CRX. I wouldn't have bought that either. If it was stock with about 70K miles, and had a clean (no rust or dents) body I would pay $3K. Hard to find one thats not all fucked up these days. Most of them are projects that someone started, and stopped halfway thru.

1) i call bullshit on this thread
2) CRX is a CLASSIC, it has a HUGE cult following, it was and is probably the BEST car honda ever made, save the s2000. Its a perfect track car or drag car, it is light, handles great even by todays standards. It was VERY far ahead of its time.

1)whats there to call bullshit on?
this is just a question, and my own opinion.
2) your right the CRX is one of the best platforms
for track or drag car. I never doubted the cars abilities
3) I got the model of accord mixed up.
sorry my mistake.
