I keep reading that the first 30mins was great, but then it's like the rest of the movie was just made up as it was filmed. There was no real character development, and alot of details were left out.

Damn, I liked the movie, them nigga had a flaming sword fight in the dark, that was the hardest thing I've seen in a live action movie! The story made no sense, but the action was good!

just got out of the theater...... i was pissed. i looked foward to a great movie but they WAY over did the computer animation. i mean the movie just plain sucked lol

it had some good fight scenes.... but they had WAY to many and they lasted 30 seconds.... i mean shit the whole movie she looks for a cure... then at the very end the kid says.... there is a cure! lol wow.... they spent way to much effort on the effects, its way over done in that aspect.... the sword fighting was good.... the gun battles were lame. the motorcycle scene in the beginning??? wtf??? that was the worst part of the movie.... i mean your in a heliocopter with a huge ass gun firing 20 rounds a second..... at a target 5 yards away moving straight at you......

But you can definatly they went towards a sin city look on this movie... and if you think about it in that view... it wasnt so bad. Id watch it again. Still sucked though lol

You can't judge a book by its cover or a movie by its title. I thought the movie was good. I wasn't expecting Academy Award Winning performances or an in depth plot with lots lots change and developement. To the person who said that everyone was static- Violet did change. She changed from a ruthless killer who took orders without questioning them to a ruthless killer who had a little bit of humanity. The action was great and it kept my attention for the whole movie. :bigok:

I thought this movie turned out a lot better than Aeon Flux. I think people never like these comic book turned movies or cartoon turned movies because there is alot left out. Thats how it is though- you can never get the full story because there is a whole history that you can never wrap up in the span of an hour and a half.

Saw the movie tonight, and I'll admit... it wasn't great, it was a "decent" movie... As someone said earlier, if you go into the movie not expecting much aside from good action scenes, then you'll leave fairly happy. The movie had some very cheesy/stupid parts (like milla on merry go round.... that was just odd), and I seriously think that Milla is the only thing that saved this movie from being a complete disaster.

It seemed to be a rip off of alot of movies, Equilibrium in particular.
