what is the size diff from a 205 50 16 and a 215 45 17 wich one is taller or are they the same somone told me they are the same highth

what is the size diff from a 205 50 16 and a 215 45 17 wich one is taller or are they the same somone told me they are the same highth205/50-16 let's see if i can confuse the hell out of you...20.5 (205mm = 20.5cm) divided by 2.54 (cm's in inch) = 8.07" (Width of tire) 8.07" x 50% = 4.035" (tire thickness). 16" wheel + 8.07" = 24.07" (outside diameter)

again, 215/45-17 = 21.5/2.54 = 8.46" + 17" = 25.46" OD

Basically 24" vs 25 1/2"...1-1/2"...is alot of differance.
