View Full Version : 05 red acr srt4 , 06 blue sti, or just keep my sxt!
Im decideing on either to get a brand new acr srt4 red or a brand new blue sti or just keep on modding my sxt and put a turbo in her. Whatever I decide is still gonna be a show ride. What do you guys think I should do and get. I need ideas on mods for the 2 and if I keep my sxt need more ideas. 1st show is april 30th. Thanks

red srt4 :D
Yeah nitro leaning more towards the acr they have 2 red srt4s at where I got my sxt which I told myself I would never go back cause they were pretty crappy to me when I got my sxt . But when I saw the acr it was love at first sight. So I deal with them one more time plus I would have them add a few mods into my loan like stage1 or 2 turbo and catch can ,mopar bov, mopar springs and them install cruise control for me . How much do you think I could get out of my 2004 sxt auto with 45 thousand with extended warrenty with mild mods outright of course. I still owe like 10 grand on her.

Well since my best friends death its been crazy with me and my family. My best friend was my father inlaw so family is so crappy to lose . He was helping build my sxt for shows before he died he also rebuilt my 96 neon about a year ago. So shes never complete but soon she will be. I will be gettin some gullwing door conversion for the front and maybe suicide the rear and get a cuda hood and customize that . Not doing much to the body itself not going with a body kit .If I do anything may do a front lip . I have sweet graphics on the way and those sweet black led tails that you have krypto,. Shes not gonna be anything like your ride nitro . Im not into the bodykits or c/f stuff right now .But as soon as Im done I will post pics of her.

man how could u even think of an sxt over an Srt-4?? never under estimate the tru Mopar power that they could bring to the table!!! STI is a waste of money in my opinion so make the right choice!! Srt-4!! im bout to buy me an Srt-4!!!peace man

now thats comedy there. You should prob keep your sxt, but like this guy said, don't get a STi, its a tuner car not a show car. just rice out your current car out to your heart's content.

I beg to differ..... :goodjob:
The sti not a show ride I have to not agree with that . My last show which I won 3rd place a stock 05 white sti won 1st place in the sport compact class. I like the wrxs also. But for now thought I might mod my sxt maybe with a srt front hood bumper rear and sides maybe but may keep my body orig. See if I can win 3rd again or 2nd if Im lucky with my mods Im doing now. Also my sxt is not a ricer my 96 is tricked out but you dont call a new ride a ricer in my book.

It'd hurt to see rally-inspired performance cars turned into "show cars" with misc. rice... just my thought.
Well a srt4 and sti or wrx or evo stock wins shows with no problem. With my sxt I have to mod her to be a show ride . I cant stand stock anyway modding is the only way to go for me .
