I doubt T.I. can pull off another Trap Muzic but hopefully the official "The King" cd will be dope.

And the Leak, in my opinion is better, considering it has most if not all the songs on the king (advance) and has more songs from PSC to boot. Either that or I downloaded a cd that just has totally different and better songs than what everyone else is hearing.

You could have listened to rap as long as you have wanted to, but I assure you I've heard most of it too. Dad plays in a band and used to DJ so we have just about every oldschool wax out there besides some rares and unknowns. You don't have to be around for ages to know what the deal is when it comes to something. Especially something that involves a life that you live.

Hmmm. You didn't say my name specifically, but you said "you guys" of which I was a part of. I'm not upset at all. Just setting the record straight. Whenever someone's favorite rapper gets dissed, that someone questions the disser and his knowledge of rap or whether or not he really listens to it. And in a way, yes, being around for a while does give a little better incite into the music from back then than someone who heard it when it was old school. What you heard first as old school was new school to me when I first heard it. There is more of a feeling of that time period when it was fresh and not 20 years old. Ask your Dad, he'll tell you the same. Like I said, I'm not upset. Later, QD.

I feel ya. It's an amazing thing to grow up listeing to Grandmaster Flash, Kurtis Blow and the like when it was brand new. Those cats didn't get the respect back then that rappers get now because rap was new and unaccepted by lots of people(mostly white). Back then, rap was more real and from the heart. Now it's about whatever will bring money....which isn't bad, it's just not a as powerful a message as it was.

I do like TI a bit. He's probably the only rapper from today's South/rap that I would listen to. He doesn't have that crunk crap sound. He's laid back and got a nice flow. Later, QD.
