oh, i was gonna tell him to wash it in hot water and dry on high heat...it'll shrink!

Brake cleaner works well, Gunk sells a decent foaming degreaser, but steam cleaning is the best. Whatever you do don't get any chemicals on the paint [fender wells (shock tower), firewalls, etc.]

Purple power concentrate will dissolve latex gloves. hahaha. gotta love that shit. To be truthful it is a great engine degreaser though

Gunk engine dregereaser is really good. :goodjob: Spray it on let it sit with the engine runnig for about 10 minutes then hose it off, but like Speedminded said dont' get that shit on your paint. if you do wash it off immediately

when i wash it off....wont that hurt the engine? what would i need to cover uppull off the air filter and put a plastic bag on the trottle body or end of the pipe with a rubber band and just don't spray directly on any electrical connecters or back of headlights (may result in blown bulbs if water gets in the light) You really shouldn't even use much if any water pressure...just take the nozzle off and let the water flow out the hose with light pressure. For the paint under the hood use glass cleaner mixed with hot water and a little bit of simple green...spray then rinse and wipe then rinse.
