There will more than likely be more in the future but I think this is last time I'll be able to get a price like this. Future events will probably cost more since the track is being extended and the rates are going up.

Jump on this one!! They are tearing up the track in the summer to redo the front straight and reshape the course a little larger. So honestly this will be one of the last times you'll be able to hit it before they start tearing it up.

Who hosts/runs these? Our club wants to start looking into what's involved with doing our own type of event but have no idea on what to expect to set it all up. I'm thinking a few of us might tag along/participate in a future event to get an idea of how to run one.

Who does the tech inspection? Who is the insurance waivers for, the track or for the event organizers?

Just wondering on some details... :goodjob:

Just wondering on some details... :goodjob:I am hosting these events personally in coordination with the track owner. It's not hard. All of the forms and waivers are supplied by the track. No other waviers or forms are permitted unless arranged prior to the event. The person/group organizing the event is responsible for the tech inspection. Basically you pay the track and then it all you the rest of the time. Easy and no hassle. :goodjob:

Track Event Cancelled

Sorry guys, but I talked with the track owner today and unfortunately the event was cancelled due to him setting up something with the Fire Department for renovations. I'll be shredding everyone's checks immediately to ensure that they are not used. I apologize again for this upset but I am trying to organize an event for June 10th so I'll keep everyone updated. Thanks again for your interest and understanding.

Hmmm, June 10th, huh? There is supposed to be the Prelude National Meet in St Louis but this will be cheaper. If money is tight, I might this this up.

Keep me posted on it, cool? :goodjob:
