Its been open since feb 11th but all the days have been cancelled due to rain. Those have only been test and tune but the session opens this weekend with test and tune and chassis certification.

year one fast friday is basically run what you brung kind of thing. i believe it starts at 6pm and usually ends around 10:30-11pm. all cars are welcomed but usually the first fast friday of the session is really busy and you might not get many runs in.

I wish the Eagle was ready. Have to get the new clutch, 8lb flywheel, ST shifter & LSD installed then broken in. I am looking forward to running with you all this season.

My favorite racing is for the trophy *(bracket racing). There it doesn't matter if you have put $1 or $10,000 into your ride. At the finish line it is neck & neck. Great competition.

it will be on street tunning, just need to make sure I dont see any knock on my scanner and its all good. My best so far all stock and a 100 shot was 12.3, so if I can beat that I will be happy.

Cool I'll look ya up what are you in...We'll be in a primered 71 with a 4inch hood on it...its hard to miss its ugly as hell...but moves on out...My camaro still has some odds and ends to be tied up...we are trying some different suspension this year to see if it fixes some of the problem he's been having...but if you see me yell at me I'll do the same with you!

Id rather go ahead and get it done right the first then to go back and replace something...Im still kinda iffy about getting someone here in Gainesville to do the exhaust...Its not hard or complicated, just 3" exhaust, flowmasters, to turndowns....

Go see Todd up at Pro Muffler off Atlanta Hwy...He does excellent work!!...He done 3inch on my uncles nova all the way out...which is not easy...you said you were doing 3 inch?...that may not have enough back pressure for your setup it could hurt you on bottom end..I would recommend 2.5 all the way unless your running like a 600hp plus motor!

Hydraulic or solid cam roller or flat tappet...I have the victor Jr. 23 deg. angle plug heads on my 406...with a solid lift roller crower cam lift is .640...and comp. about the same as you its has 12:1 dome pop up with 64cc heads so it has a little crack and pop to it...I wish I could do away with the 2-4's setup but this mine and my dads car we split everything and he likes the look of the 2-4's..but my chevelle will have a single 850cfm double pumper!

I wanted to go with a flat tappet but seeing that this car is going to see the streets alot, I just went with a hydraulic cam...Yeah these heads are also 64cc...Quick Fuel 850cfm double pumper is whats on this motor, I had never seen these carbs in person before and they seem alright so far...Only weak part in the car is the tranny...Its a 700r4 and has been rebuilt numerous times, this time we put a TCI overhaul kit and I drove it the other day and seems like it wants to slip a little, either that or its just the stall converter, I havent really gotten on it all that much, hell the motor probably has like 10 miles on it barely...

What stall are you running?...and gears...From my experience the 700r's are hard to get to hold together with a irradicle cam and alot of hp...mine want to consider going to a 400 or turbo350 with the gear vendor's overdrive setup on it...from what I've heard those work well and they give you 3 extra gears!!...

Yeah, I wanted a turbo400 but didnt get ahold of one, so I just went with this one...It gave out on me coming from Oakwood one day on 985, it sucked, only had 1st and 2nd gear, made it home slowly...Ill see how this one does, if it goes out then turbo 400 is what ill be putting in...Still need to figure out how to put the power steering back on, these heads dont have the mounting holes to line up right...
Still running stock 373 gears with a 2500-3000 stall
