it took me years to figure out that it's pointless to mod your car, unless you have another one to drive daily and a ton of money to fix the shit when it breaks..

that's why my car is stock except for it being lowered, and I can say I did that for better handling..

remember it's always going to revolve around time/money <we usually don't have either> but............it really depends on how bad u really want something & how many body parts you're willing to sacrifice...lol :D

2 years and 3 months and still no where near done. At least it's starting to look somewhat decent or at least a little better than the 17" wheels with the monstrosity of fiberglass they called a body kit and big ass aluminum park bench wing...all on when i bought it. Engine swap, suspension, and a few more misc. things and it still has a long ways to go....

Cars are never ending. The 98 hatch was diffrent Almost every year. Almost every year new Paint job, wheels, interior.. blaze blaze.. 5 years of throwing money away.
I accomplished what I wanted to get done and got rid of it.

The 92 Civic, never finished the project, Cousin bought it of me and hopefully he will have it finished soon.

The Audi.. new project, But im sure this one will be WAAYYYYYYYY more less then before, And it will look better and have more power for CHEAPER.

This is what Im Doing as I go :

Chip- Done
K&N Filter - Done
Diverter Valve- Done
GIAC Flashloader
Boost gauge w/some sort of pod
Down pipe
Custom Exhaust
Springs
Black rear valance

So Im almost done with the Audi.. all I want is a fun weekend driver and have some fun @ the track.

Dont even think Im getting wheels and if I do, It wont be anytime soon, really dont care for any.. Maybe some other AUDI wheels.. but thats as far as Ill go.

I have a pretty simple wagon. I have had it for 7 months and I got what I really needed in pretty good time. It should be done at the end of this year.

they all take time, the worst thing you can do is try to rush through it b/c you wont like it nothing good is done overnight and nothing done overnight is good either

About 4 yrs. Still not done. There are things I would like to change, and also get a k20 swap. But I would rather save for a newer car than keep dumping money into this thing. I'll keep it and replace things as needed, but thats it. I might even start taking some parts off and selling them.
