I honestly think someone needs to approach the manager of the Varsity and explain to them what goes on. get on the same page, tell him we arent there to cause trouble, just meet and hang out. also need to tell them that people spend money on food.

The V will trade all the BUSINESS they see from the meets for kicking everyone out because its too much liability for them if someone gets hurt, starts a fight (like 3 almost happened last night), wrecks their car, drives other "normal" customers away.

Someone with power needs to organize it with the V, so this can stay the meet spot, if not, then i bet money next month, it lasts 2 hours tops before APD shows up and kicks everyone out

i think the V is just too small for this group. no reason to try and coerce them into letting us stay if all we're going to do is cause a traffic jam in their parking lot. no good reason can justify that to any manager, even if some of us are buying food, it doesn't matter.

THe varsity has alway been popular cause it was downtown, and its a CENTRAL location. so unless we meet in Turner fields Parking lot, i dont know of any place BIGGER that can accomadate us.

The V is a tradition, and i hate to see it go. i personally think they should have a "max number" of occupants, then tell everyone else to go park in the surrounding areas. Thats how other places do it, you get their late, no parking, sorry. too bad.

instead of letting a traffic jam happen, they could shut the parking lot down, but they would have to hire someone to do it, which means we would all have to pay $1 to park or something. i would pay $1-5 to go, just to keep the spot.

but it needs to be more organized

too many people, and i was illegaly parked so i stayed close to my car.

that guy was NOT a cop. his badge had NO numbers or city on it, plus his VEST said AGENT on the back, they sell that shit at walmart lol. he was an asshole, and we told him to shut the fuck up cause he was retarded rude to spoolin.

That rent-a-cop was completely out of line. He was yelling at me telling me to get the fuck out of his way and move my "shit" somewhere else. That was kind of hard for me to do seeing as I was stuck in a massive traffic jam but whatever. The turnout was insane I really enjoyed the meet and hope that we can keep having it there because its such a good spot for it. The only real cops I saw were pretty cool and didnt really care about us being there. I didnt really get a chance to meet anybody new but it was still a good time.

Anyways, awesome meet. I don't really think anything has to be worked out with the Varsity for April. Just have the meet like normal and see what happens. If it's the same shit, then we can move to Turner Field.

Turner Field might become a problem starting in April, though. We'd have to make sure the Braves aren't playing a home game, and it probably couldn't always be the first Thursday.

what a fucking terrific turnout.. I ended up just leaving at around like 10pm because I was parked in the first row, below that crumbled cinderblock wall nearest the street by a couple M3's and a black AP1 s2k w/ black OEM hardtop, and amuse titan R1 exhaust... lol, anyways.. I left because around that time, like 9:30 or so, too many fucking bikers started pulling in, and parking in front of my car, and walking away.. so I grabbed my gf and I.. approached a couple of the guys on bikes, and kindly asked them to move they're bikes so we could bounce.... well, i thought i'd do this, before i get fucked and have like 30bikes parked infront of me. lol

anyways, I wasn't sure if I was there for the guy laying down his bike.. sucks for him and the bike.. and I think I was there also for the dude and his tC getting towed... someone should have knocked that "agent" THE FUCK out.. or just did a citizens arrest or something totally JDM.. lol, jk.
