The GXL is N/A. How many miles are on it?

rockbridge? name? is he jamaican?
200k is alot for a n/a. Definetly needs a rebuild soon. I know a guy that sells rebuild turbo II for around 2-5k.

no...he's white, and he specializes in rotary restorations......name's Bryn....the engine doesnt even look like its gone through 200k and the chassis and suspension seem to be very well, so i figured it was probably a swapped cluster....

Bryn has RX7 Restorations. He bought a lot of Sam's (Atlanta RX7) parts when Sam moved.

200K is quite a few miles. If you plan on making the car faster, or dumping a lot of money into it, I'd say to plan on a rebuild.

I think that you might want to see what Bryn has in TIIs. He should have one for sale. It has a lot more building potential. While initial costs and maintanence is higher, performance parts are easier to come by, and you get more power per dollar.

Yah bryn rebuilt my car and its running strong. But if i was you, I would look into investing into a T2 since you can find them around 2-5k. How much is he selling it for?

the reason why im buying it is because the only t2 he got is $11k and the GXL is $1,600...

well, right now i need something that is more reliable, the 11k TII is pretty built up, brand new S5 engine, its a convertable, and alot of mods.....

the turbo is just as reliable as other cars if you do the proper matience to them regually. Don't listen to other people to much. My car hasn't has a problem for a year now. Just blew my turbo manifold gasket, but that was my fault.

thats a hell of a swap if you think you want to do that. Getting the engine in is easy. But the n/a drive train will grenade on your first romp of the gas. If you want to do a n/a -turbo swap, you need to change over the whole driveline...tranny, diveshaft and entire rearend. In that case might as well do the TII suspension and brakes too. FYI.

o...wow...well i still think this is a steal for $1600, i can always sale it back for close to $2000, maybe even more!!
