Expensive install and if you're worried about your warranty you should probably reconsider, otherwise they are great and yield about 20whp I believe which is pretty good for the VQ..

not the nismo cams, they make outrageous claims and have failed to put any serious power down..

You know JWT made the Nismo cams? Then they went and made their cams better lol

Will is probably right on this one, last I remember its about $1000 to get them installed.

im gettin them for much less then a grand new and i have a mechanic who has built sub 10 sec z's who is willing to work for free :)

the nismo cams are great. the do have excellent gains, plus your warranty is not voided with Nismo parts, but would with the others

as far as nissan techs go.. even IF the cams had the manufacturers name engraved on them.. theres no way those idiots would ever know. once i had a rattle caused by broken exhaust hanger (on stock exhaust may i add) one of the idiots said it was an aftermarket exhaust cause of the way it sounded and that they wouldnt fix it... how gay hahaha. should have seen the serv mngr snap on that guy after i let him have it

any mod for a VQ without tuning will have pathetic power gains. the ECU is a stubborn fuck

I'd love to see someone try to get Nissan to honor the engine warranty with cams, unless you know someone at a dealership its just not going to happen.

hmm... true... in that case, buy the cams, resell 'em, then save a lil more for some internals. If you have a mechanic that'll work for free, having a built motor should be pretty cheap 'n easy for ya.

nope ordered my cams/e/i from nismo that is about all...im out town for the next two weeks, but its hard when you drop 5k plus on styling last month and come around and ppl arent like why dont you have any performance mods, IMO im in college, builing a well rounded z and trying not to make short cuts, im just asking for opinions, bash all you want but i figure that i have nothing to prove to anyone, im doing this for myself
