How does one go about changing the color silver to a shiny charcoal or even black...? I've tried going through tutorials but I cannot find any good ones to show color change on cars.

Its very hard to get a shiny black car unless the car is ultra shiny anways.. how I usually do black is I completely unsaturate the picture then darken it up.. but there are plenty of way to do that

Im trying to change the silver to a darker color and keep the red that bright...the red is just a layer from the car layer...:) here is what it looks like.
