jl audio sub/amp combo

up for grabs is a jl audio sub/amp combo:

jl12w6 in a slot ported box custom made by hi-fi buys along with a
500w/1 channel class d mono block amplifier. i picked both items up for around $1200.00 and want to get as much of the money back as possible.
i am asking for $1000.00 but will consider a best offer.

the sub/amp combo was purchased at the beginning of the year and installed near the end of january, so everything is brand new. i will also throw in a set of rockford fosgate 4 gauge speaker wire kit witch includes: 4 gauge power and ground wire, outputs, remote wire, speaker wire , and fuse block that sells for around $120.00.

i need the money because i want to put a sti short block into my wrx.

so you say you'll sell yours for 800 that's a bit more reasonable. Also did it ever occur you might have payed a bit too much for yours?

btw don't just come on here trying to sell stuff, be part of the community and you might not get flamed as much...although the caps will get you flamed no matter what... I was 11 when i thought it was cool to type in caps lock.....

what you arent thinking about though is the fact that this is still used. no matter for how long. when it leaves hifi buys it loses value, when you open the box it loses lots of value, and when you install it and use it for a week it loses alot of value to. Take this all into account and id much rather buy a new one online w/o warranty than a used one from you w/o a warranty for almost the same price. if you lower your price to about 230 i can buy the amp. if you cant then i cant/wont buy it.
