What It Has.

-2.4L from a 02 PT Cruiser installed with 17k on motor including the alterntor.
**Please note, a typo on the milage, d@*!n dislexia** 81k on chassy at time of install, swap done by NeonRacer so you know it was quality. Currenty 91.5k
-PT modular clutch, TO, and new clutch cable.
-24lb Ford CobraR injectors.
-SAFC2, controlls the fuel flow.
-Mopar Performance PCM.
-3.0 CAI
-52mm Throttle Body
-PaceSetter short tube, less than 1yo.
-FlowMaster Delta Series exhaust 2yo.
-Kuhmo Ecsta 195-60-14, brand spankin new 95% tread w/roadhazard

-New Hub/Bearing and tie rod end on pass side.
-New rotors all around.
-New ceramic pads on front.
-Removed PS and AC
-EGR Delete
-Added super lightweight high output cooling fan with direct to battery
connection and cocpit toggle for full time cool. You can run hard, pull
it over and place your hand right on the intake mani and top of the
radiator. I have a new fan relay if you would prefer not to mess with
it.
-Prothane motor mount inserts.
-Short throw shifter with Booger bushings on both ends of the linkage.
-Custom graphite and silver interor, all original charcoal and red confetti seats front and back.
-Reverse glow gauges with custom/matching graphite bezel.
-Grant GT wheel painted to match
-Custom painted shift knob
-M3 style mirrors (no not the ones with the led's).
-No air bags (kinda a no brainer with the Grant and all but just in case).

This is what it will need.

-I hit a pot hole(the reason for the new struts) in the rain and
had to pick up a steelie so your missing one RT blade wheel. You can
get em used for about $90.
-Did a skunk stripe delete but when I got to the trunk it was
painted? So you would need to swap for one or just have it painted.
-My wife backed into the front drivers side fender just recently. Im replacing it but you would need to paint it to match.
-Alignment would be great after that pothole incident, it was a big one.
-I highly recommend getting it dyno'd and tuned, she runs like a
real SOB but could do better with a professional tweaking the goodies.
-Needs a new intake mani gasket.

History

VIN/Chass: Clean, will provide on request
VIN/Block: " DIDDO "
I dont race this car. It is my daily driver and has seen alot of
twistys but has never been to the track. Dont get me wrong, I cut loose
at a redlight now and then, especially beside the errant GLI or the
ever present Mustang GT but thats about it. Bought it used, 2nd owner,
with 21k on it. Started to learn to tune after that. I learned
everything on this car starting with my first oil change and break
caliper replacement (boy that was fun). I have done everything to this
car myself with the exception of the swap. I use mobile1 every 3k,
replaced the tranny fluid regularly, and only ran high octane fuel. I
had one notable accident in it when I slid in the rain on some very
bald tires and nailed the trailer hitch on a SUV, bent the bumper
support which I pounded out and punched a hole in the cover whitch I
replaced. A lady sideswiped the pass side in a parking lot once but
that was fixed with some paint and body touch up. A girl ran me off the
highway onto the median once but no dammage was done (still got some
money though), and some minor dents and dings. I love this car to
death, it is by far the most enjoyable car I have ever driven
especially with the 2.4 dropped in. But now I am a family man and my
new baby girl has forced me to face a harsh reality, Neons were not
built for car seats! This is the first problem Ive encountered with
this car that I just cant fix. So what I am hoping is to part with it
for a very reasonable amount of money to someone who will continue the
saga and who will love driving this car as much as I have over the last
5 years. I dont want to recoupe my investment but to only get enough to
pick up a 4door I have my eye on. So bottom line is that Im looking for
$3,000 for it. The only stipulation will be that you arrange for pickup
or delivery. I can drive an hour or two to meet someone but not much
more than that.

Im pretty firm on the price but as allways people can ask so feel free.
I will post pics soon so you all can take a gander at my baby (the car
I mean). Thanks for looking!

Yes is has the PT Turbo block but it is N/A. Had plans to install the SRT4 StgII with internals but that wont happen now.

Correct, its not turbo. With the basic mods ive installed it tac's at 6k, puts down about 170hsp and 190trq at the wheel but I dont have exact numbers since I did not dyno it. This is a great base powerplant to start with either way you go with it, turbo or n/a.

Best offer to date $2,500. This is a excellent platform for any upgrade either n/a or turbo and as it is it screams on the street and really hugs the twistys. You must drive it to believe. If anyone wants a look see just let me know and we'll meet up.
