The intake is for a 1994 Civic EX but can possible be used on other models and the bushings are for a 1992 Sentra SE-R.

So whats the deal with the bottom end on that motor?

So whats the deal with the bottom end on that motor?

The only thing wrong with the motor is that the teeth at the end of the crankshaft are stripped. Didn't have the crankshaft bolt tight enough in the pulley after I changed the timing belt...lesson learned.

Do you have the se-r front sway bar? or bolts?

Also do you have the totaled car on hand? What color? I need a new trunk if you have one in good shape...

No, the only thing I have left of the car are the things I have listed here. Oh, except for the stock wheels. I had the '96 SE-R 5-spoke wheels on it when it was totaled.

Do you have any of the 96 wheels still?

Teeth? I am not familiar with the d series but I have a friend who needs a bottom end. I thought there was just keyway that held things on right. Like I said, I am not familiar with d-series though. But do you have a close up pic of the damage do the crank? He may be interested depending on how bad it is.

Another question, did the pistons hit the valves? You make it sound like you had a timing belt failure.

No, I didn't have a broken or slipping timing belt. I had just gotten the car and did not know if it had been changed or not, so I changed it. The crankshaft bolt came loose and the pulley was spinning freely on the crankshaft. Actually, the key slot seems ok, the key itself and the pulley received the most damage. I'll try to take a picture either later tonight or tomorrow.

The first person to come get it out of my garage can have it! I need it to go ASAP so that I don't have to move it when we start painting later in the week.
