320k on Chassis under 40k on Engine
Has an F23A1 out of a 2001 EX with less than 40k, my Honda tech did the swap last year. Ran perfectly w/o VTEC until:
Head gasket blew due to a bad thermostat, it blew while the car was idling. Owner had the car idling while outside talking to his girl on the phone (dumb ass didn't check the temp gauge).
Car is NON-VTEC (NEEDS WIRES TO BE RUN FOR VTEC **WILL SUPPLY 1995 VTEC ECU)
This Car was Service regularly at Carey Paul by the previous owner that's why it made it up to 300k plus with ease. I've seen honda Accords with half the mileage with lower standard of maintenance.
Since 309k The F23A1 was swapped in.
