Went to Wally world tonight and like usual there was a greeter there and he said "hi" so I said "hi, how are you" and he seemed kind of in shock. Its like most people just walk by and don't say anything. Working in retail, I know how being nice goes a long way. It just shows how a simple "hi, how are you" can make a difference and make the other person feel better.
