I simply made a point that I dont understand why we would post this to the attention of a certain ethnicity instead of the whole community. Perhaps there are other people who would like to go to something like that show, and I dont see why you would purposely exclude a group of people from the audience. On top of that, it was only intended to be semi-serious, because this isnt something that I expected anyone to actually give a shit about on IA. And yes carra, there is a technically a difference between "spanish," "mexican spanish" and "latin-american spanish." They are different dialects of the language, and as-such, they will inevitably have different words depending on usage, especially slang. Its like the difference in "American English" and the "Queens English" that is spoken in Great Britian. They are both "English," but they are very different in use. I took spanish for a couple years in school, and I remember that trying to converse with people from different areas was sometimes difficult, because they would have ways of saying things that were different from my text-book spanish.
