small things to do for horse power?

im looking for some small things i can do to make my B18b1 faster. i already got about 10hp from putting the black valve cover on, and 2 horsepower from the aftermarket oil pan plug. but how much can i get from some aftermarket cams? or anything else i can do without taking the motor out. im not really thinking about porting, and polishing the head yet, and boring it out and getting some different rods and pistons. im going to save all that for when i hopefully get a GSR and have time to work on it. but without doing any of that is there any point of getting cams? sorry if this all makes me sound stupid im just checking (and the black valve cover and oil plan plug thing for HP, was a joke for those who cant tell)

im getting my exhaust done monday from the headers back, just need some new headers, have an intake too. no plans on getting nos

cams, valves, retainers. self port on intake man, baffled oil pan,

grounding kit, higher flow injectors. some others too.


all those = tune

throttle body.....intake manifold...... but on a stock ls i'd say go boost.......

dude get a lightweight flywheel and a clutch!! car will be quicker out of the hole and rev faster.
Put some 14's on the front of your car.
also use 87 octane gas and a new set of plugs and wires.
the exhaust will help also.
cams dnt help too much unless u got higher compression to go along with it, and they arent cheap.
u can get the head posted and polished but thats not gonna be cheap either.

all great suggestions above to which you would want to add lightweight pulleys, cam gears, throttle body, intake manifold also venom 400 module which is plug-n-play I think
