why not do a complete swap with a B 0r K series motor?

d16a1's and d16a8's and those d16 dual cam first gen integra motors are a bit different from the jdm zc. the motors we have (d16a1, d16a8, etc) bolt up to the older accord transmissions. It's so confusing, because the jdm zc is a dual cam d-series that bolts up to a d-series transmission.

I'm not trying to ttell you what to do, but I would stay away from that zc motor. It just seems like it's too much work when you can just get a z6 or y8 that makes the same power
check out d-series.org

i like the dohc zc i had one awhile back and a turbo and loved it.so your saying the d16a8 will not fit,why not?i was thinking it would be in the wiring.but on the engine list on most sites it shows that as a option in a 88-91 crx and hatch.thanks for your input and i will check out that site.

i'm telling you i'm 95% sure that it won't work. d-series.org has tons of D-series gurus. honda-tech tends to be mostly b-series/h-series/k-series. Not a whole lot of D guys
