coax is a single speaker with an atached tweeter. A component, also called a seperate, is 2 individual speakers. a dedicated midrange and a dedicated tweeter, along with a crossover.

everything you would need is included in the box except a pair of wire strippers and a set of crimpers.

I have a question right now i'm looking for some good speakers i don't know whether to get Coaxial speakers or Component? Besides a Sub what would be the best speakers for some Bass. I was lookin at Boston Acoustics, Pioneer, Polk, and many more and i just don't know what to get! Plz help me!

i've heard boston acoustics were pretty good, i have polk coaxials. They have some pretty good mid bass to them. good for listening to rock music. only thing i have to complain about them is that they are abit too deep. i have to mount them out more or else my from windows won't roll down.

use subs or midbass for low end frequencies. neither coax or components will give a decent bass response.

Boston accoustics have proven to have the best clarity out there. I use polk and I am semi satisfied, I think I am going after some diamond audio now.

I have a set of polk momo components, and I have no complaints. when you are considering speakers, think about if they will be amplified or not. No amp means no components.

No amp means no components.

That statement is incorrect. You can have components on just a powered HU.

definately run an amp with components, but technically you can run them off the head unit.
