Selling the m3, we need a new jeep, 84,000 miles on the M3

looking for a jeep TJ must have 6, auto & air, partial trade, or 17,000 $ cash, you'll be hard pressed to find a better example of an e36 m3, I looked for 6 months to find this one, the interiors just dont seem to be kept up like they should

the 95 has odb-1, the 96-99 have odb-2

Well we do have rules...if that's what you mean.

Please read the thread in this section about what's required for a FS thread and update it.

You need to put in things like MILEAGE, cars condition, if it needs anything, etc. Please read that and make those changes... it will be very helpful to the sale.

Thanks

the RD wheels were probably not the best choice, I'm missing a center cap and I cant find a source

the knockoff RD company does not make them, and I cant find any from the real RD company out of italy

road rash on the drivers side rear rim, a rock chip on the front hood lip

miles are on the original post

Cleanest Vaders ever!

LTW molding? it looks like the oem "fatty" M-Technic door trim, which was cool looking, and you could get it on the later 328is and the earlier (rare) m-technic edition 325is with the cloth interior...ever seen a suede set of vader seats before? very hott

Free bump for a super clean e36, and two dirty thirty's in the driveway

little proud on the price, but great mileage on it...Has the water pump impeller and housing been replaced?

theft problems around here? I wish someone would steal my jeep, damn thing wont sell, even at 2500 $

It does stay garaged all the time

the m3 had the waterpump & thermostat replaced at 65k miles, along with HR's and blistien sports (which I'm not fond of now, too firm)

I have wife aggro over the car, she does not want to see it go, that's for sure, so we may not sell, price is firm due to this, car is just too sexy

Honestly the E30's are much more fun, they have a gocart feel to them, I really miss my 325is, but it had 250,000 miles on it, something was bound to fail soon

Good looking car, love to buy it for closer to kbb list. Private party asking price should be $10,250 in excellent condition for a 1995 M3 with 84,000 miles. If will to sell near there, let me know

good luck finding a car like that in that good of a condition around 10K. Sometimes you have to put in the quality factor in price too...KBB is just a rought estimate not exact amount it comes down to the seller to price the car. The day all cars started selling at KBB price.....it would be best day of my life. And i am sure he'll talk price if someone is serious about buying the car. Another free bump for a clean M3.

kbb is way off on these, I looked at ~25 cars when I bought it, and kbb said 12-15k back then, that's just not reality unless you get lucky, for that price I saw keyed cars, trashed cars, etc

right now the only 10k 95 M3's you see are theft or accident cars, or in serious bad shape, rust/scratch/trashed interior, nothing I would buy, the 96-99 go a little cheaper

I think it's the insurance industry messing with the prices, they undervalue the car when they are totaled, they rate the M3 as the highest risk for them, while my X5 has the lowest premium risk, and kbb does not understand the difference betweeen a 95 and 96+ they classify them as the oldest & cheapest, it's too bad they dont cross reference classified listings, they do get some cars right on the money, but not these.

not sure why, but kbb and the other one are way off on them, they had the same problem with my E30's, they valued my 325i at 800 $, the real price, which they all sold for on autotrader, and what I sold it for, 2500 $, I dont know how they can be that far off, not a single E30 will sell for 800 $ unless it's rusted, scratched, crashed, trashed, I think it's probably because 8 out of 10 e30's I looked at were complete crap, it was sad, I wasted a lot of time car shopping for E30's and E36's, KBB even rating a car perfect did not price them high enough

This is one of my top 10 favorite cars to drive or look at, the price is FIRM, I do enjoy the car to this day
